Whessoe can provide the process know-how to design NH3 import regasification facilities from storage through to vaporisation and on to send out via pipe network or truck loading facilities.

The import facility may also be connected to a power station where co-firing/blending with ammonia is required.

Whessoe designed the Ammonia regasification facilities at 2 import terminals in India.

Export

For export facilities Whessoe have worked with their parent company Samsung C&T on a variety of opportunities typically including the generation of hydrogen from electrolysis, through the ammonia synthesis process and subsequent storage prior to export.
