Project Details:

The Utilities and Offsites 2 Tankage Package was part of a US$ 9.8 billion investment by PetroRabigh in 2004 and comprised of Import Storage/Intermediate Storage/Product Tankage/Component Storage Refrigeration Plants

 

Whessoe’s Scope:

Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning

 

Whessoe successfully executed the Tankage Package which included the following workscope:

 

Refrigerated Tanks and Refrigeration Plants

  • One independent Propylene refrigeration plant including 2 No Propylene tanks, all associated equipment, instrumentation, electrical and pipework between the refrigeration plant and tanks;
  • One independent Propylene Oxide refrigeration plant including 2 No Propylene Oxide tanks, all associated equipment, instrumentation, electrical and pipework between the refrigeration plant and tanks;
  • An independent plant to allow compression and transport of Ethylene for the new build Ethylene tanks including all associated equipment, instrumentation and electrical work and pipework between the compressor plant and tanks
