Liquid Ammonia Storage

For over 60 years Whessoe have been designing Ammonia facilities, initially as part of fertiliser plants and more recently as part of the transition towards clean ammonia production.

Storage tanks can be designed to accommodate any volume of product in a range of storage configurations, designed to suit the customers individual requirements.

With the emergence of in-tank pumps for Ammonia duty, the pipework can now penetrate through the roof, enabling full containment without the need for an external bund/dyke. Traditional side wall penetration designs are also available.
